Description

The KA36 kickstand is a unique patented design that features push button adjustability. Made of aluminum alloy, it is designed to fit most lightweight, midweight and cruiser bicycles 24" to 28" and easily installs with a bottom bracket mount that fits on a bike's chain stay neck. Riders can adjust their bikes to rest at any angle they want. It is available in ED black or V-Polish silver.

Very nice design and great concept. Well built and looks good too. Impressive for the price. Unfortunately it did not fit my bike (Diamond Back mountain bike). The screw that came with it is too short. I wish I could just get a replacement screw. I looked for other screws in hardware stores, but the threads are too fine and none would fit. Too bad. I truly liked this kickstand, but have to return it.

Update. I liked this item so much that I decided to look harder for the correct adjustment screw and I found it at Lowe's! Bought a 2 1/2" long stainless steel screw that fits.

Bottom-line: I will keep it!

I never thought I would write a review for a kickstand, but this one deserves it! The kickstand is very simple to install. It looks great on the bike and has a strong spring that feels solid when used. The best part is that the kickstand length is adjustable to make sure that you bike stands at the angle you want. Once you set it up the first time, you never really need to adjust again.

I bought one for my wife's bike and quickly bought another for my own bike.

I returned this Item! But the reason was only due to missing part, and the weight of this product. For an everyday type bike, it would have been great. But It weights over a pound, and that is just too much weight when you are trying to keep your bike in the lightest weight possible. If that is not a concern for you, this is a great buy! I highly recommend it.

Easy to install, well built, as far as I can tell, and very very easy to adjust: slide and click. Rest assured I will update if there are any durability problems.

This kick stand is simple to install (as most would be) but what I like is the length adjustment. Very simple, very effective. After sawing off aluminum stands one, two or three times this click setting is very convenient. Plus if you get it too short, you just pull back out - not so if you saw off too short. Bold footprint helps in soft soil.
