5Safety, Convenience, and Plenty of Space  May 04, 2011 By David Wunderlich
This is my third set of panniers and I must say that they are the best (and cheaper than my last set)! I purchased these on Amazon for three main reasons:

1. Safety: These panniers have an excellent mounting system and the bags are securely held to the rack. A simple click and you are virtually guaranteed that they will stay in place. I ride mainly on roads (sometimes fairly rough) but have recently ridden on some canal and mild single track without incident. The panniers also have a stiff backing which means that even if the packs are not completely full you don't have to worry about them getting stuck in your spokes (a problem which I had with my inexpensive (yet utilitarian) set as well as my significantly more expensive set). These packs have more reflective surface than any others that I have owned or seen on the market. It may not seem like much but dont ever underestimate the importance of being seen (I'll get off my soap box now).

2. Convenience: I am a commuter (and occasionally do some touring) and these panniers can be easily removed from the bike by simply depressing a lever and pulling up on the bag (these packs won the maker an InnoBike Design Award in 2009). Very convenient for packing and for taking with you to change in and out of gear/work clothes. They fit nicely in lockers. Did I mention that they come with a rain cover which stow in an underneath pocket?

3. Space: Plenty of space. My 15" laptop (I use a laptop sleeve which also holds mouse and power supply), important papers and work clothes (help pad the laptop) fit in one bag with shoes, toiletries, camp towel (high absorbant yet small), and lunch in the other (with room to spare for jackets etc. in cold weather). The three outside pockets hold extra bike tubes, tools, keys, wallet, etc. nicely. I really like the compressions straps. When I first got the bags they looked smaller that I had expected, but once you loosen up the compression straps a world of space is available. I often will get groceries on my way home and can easily fit what I need in the packs (although the lunch box may need to get strapped to the top of the rack if I have to get a gallon of milk among other things).

The packs do work on my universal rack but I did order the pakrac and I would suggest getting it (extremely light weight).

I was also impressed with the seller. My order arrived sooner than anticipated and in great shape.

5Great Product  Oct 25, 2011 By Nathaniel C. Bottorff
This is a great item. Clip on system is very fast and secure. Holds a lot of stuff (including my 17" laptop). Lots of pockets. Built in rain covers. Seems really well-made and durable, but I've only had it a few weeks, so time will tell. Perfect for a daily commuter or a weekend grocery-go-geter.

Please note, although the product description is Quick Clip-On Panniers (with and S) and there is a picture of 2 panniers, you only get one bag and need to buy two to have the set.

Edit - Amazon has corrected the issue with the description and picture. After 3 months of owning two of these things, I have absolutely no complaints. Great product so far.

4Good pannier but the bottom clip should be redesigned  May 14, 2012 By Larry Miller
The Pannier is sufficient for all my needs. The top clips fasten securely to my rack but the bottom connection required some improvising with zip ties to secure it. It would be very helpful if the bottom connection was redesigned to fit different types of racks.

5Excelent experience and quality product  Apr 30, 2012 By Jose
I folks:
Well, I bought my pannier in January and I have had a very good experience, starting from the shipping time.
The pannier is made with a very resistant material with a good size ( I use everyday to carry my laptop 12" and my books to the University). The pockets maybe are a little bit, but to puts the cables and portable hard disk are OK.
I recommend this pannier to people that ride to the work or class everyday, the plastic hinges and secure system are very resistant when the road is not very soft.
Any question or more information, please contact me.
I had a good surprise when I found a water resistant cover at the bottom of the pannier, very good idea.

Jose

2Not a big pannier  Apr 29, 2012 By kathyo
The pannier is not as big as other reviewer made it sound.

Also, it did not securely clip onto my rack and my foot hit it while I was pedaling (but I wasn't using the rack that you are supposed to buy with it, so that may be why).
